Enroll/Cost

Eligible students are automatically enrolled by the University of North Florida, unless proof of coverage is approved in the online Academic HealthPlans (AHP) portal.

Enrolled students may opt to purchase coverage for eligible dependents.

Eligible students include: all registered international students with J-1J-2 or F-1/F-2 visas and students enrolled full-time in one of the following programs: Graduate Nutrition and Dietetics, Undergraduate Nursing, Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner, and Graduate Nurse Anesthesiology Program.

Enrollment must be within 31 days of the qualifying event. Newborn enrollment must be within 60 days after birth. You may be requested to provide documentation verifying the date of the qualifying event (e.g. birth certificate, marriage license, I-94 travel history, boarding pass, letter showing a loss of coverage). Coverage will be effective beginning the first day following your loss of coverage.

Continuation coverage is available to students who have graduated or are no longer eligible for Student Health Insurance. Students and their dependent(s) can purchase three (3) months of additional medical coverage. Continuation must be purchased within thirty one (31) days of the current coverage termination date.
